Eyrth Online: episode 2 The Los Dos: The Memoirs of Lawrence Wrath (2nd Playlist)
In our last episode Law had received an ESP. Then he met his AI uncle, got an Irish personal assistant. After that he kicked ass in Ninja Warrior! He bashed some zombie Dwayne Johnson’s head in! Then he played a game of Battle Chess with his dead uncle. Oh, did I mention there were, some mother f****** snakes on a mother f****** plane! After that, there was a little bit of man on man throat action, then a naked tiger riding competition.
I think that about sums it up. If there is anything I missed you can blame it on the Lady, Mary Jane. Did you know they just put out a poll that said 50%, that’s fifty percent, of Americans smoke Marijuana? How awesome is that! Party on Dudes!
Oh, there is some drug use, tons of violence, nudity, and just a little bit o sex. Not to mention so much swearing that you might feel like washing your ears and eyes out with soap. Thanks again for joining me on this crazy ride. Let’s have some fun!
Lost Archive: A LitRPG Adventure (Veilwalkers Book 1)
A New World: Middle Kingdom Book 1
Zero God (A LitRPG tale): Awakening (Digital Realms)
Nigmus Online
Virtual Dive technology is coming out of the workplace and into homes. Nigmus Online is the first MMO to use this new device. The only caveat to the game; there is no manual. The only instruction the player gets is how to interact with the user interface. That's it. Nobody is going to hold their hand or give out rare items. Players begin life as a level zero commoner. Its entirely up to them what class they become. Explore a world that spans five continents.
Mundis Mori: A LitRPG Adventure
Haye's life sucks. Hard. But playing Mundis doesn't. All he wants in the whole world is to ride his Demon Steed. On his way to get his steed, naked and helpless, he is betrayed and left for dead at the bottom of the Black Hole of Calcutta. He swears to destroy his betrayer, and using the last of his meager savings he hires the Thrill Kill Cult to help him. The closer they get to revenge, the stranger things get, until his virtual vendetta leads to real blood.
Critical Failures V (Caverns and Creatures Book 5)
The core gang you’ve come to love over the course of the last four books has broken up. Stacy and her brother Tim are on their own. Tempers flare when the larger group thinks Tim is trying to screw them over after a member of his group accidently steals the dice they need to get home to the real world.
What follows is a funny multi-narrative story where everyone is searching for TIm. People are forced to take sides and of course, nothing goes as planned for anyone.
The Hour of Pain (The Way of the Shaman: a bonus story)
Super short read that retells the last scene of book 5 from Anastaria’s perspective. For the price of $3 for about 20 pages, it’s super overpriced. However, the story puts the events at the end of book 5 in a completely new light. However, this is something that’s likely to be covered in book 6 when it comes out. I enjoyed it but I really wish the short story was on Kindle Unlimited or just cheaper.
The Bard: A LitRPG Short Story (The Greenwood Book 4)
Romeo el Mejor, best bard in the world, or at least in the City of Vinab in the virtual reality massively multiplayer online game: The Greenwood, is about to put on a play when a goddess appears and asks him to run an errand for her.
She promises him a +10 boost to all stats for a month, so how could he refuse?
She is also remarkably pretty.
A light hearted LitRPG short story set in the Greenwood.
The Merchant of Tiqpa 2 (The Bathrobe Knight Book 5)
Locke finds himself between a rock and a hard place, as old urges and new desires compete to shape the life and death decisions that he must make in his quest to save the kingdom from the brink of corruption.
My Opinion: About 400 pages, $3.99, Not Available on Kindle Unlimited
One of the things I like about this series is that it’s almost a standalone adventure story. If you’ve read the other books in the series you get more from the text but if you haven’t then you still get to enjoy a funny, action- adventure story.
The Merchant of Tiqpa series, in general, is smaller in scope than the Bathrobe Knight part. This book is no different. It’s not epic and world-shaking. Instead, it’s Lock, his satirical friend Reginald, and the warrior Eliza on an adventure in a city of merchants. Trying to find a way to take over for their guild. It’s fun.
Score: 7 out of 10
Delvers LLC: Obligations Incurred
Henry and Jason were whisked away from Earth by a powerful entity and given powers so that they could be part of an upcoming experiment/contest. Just as they think they’re getting the hang of how things work in this new world everything is turned upside down. Their friend is murdered and now they’ve been conscripted by the local government as agents. They’ll still get a chance to get revenge for their friend’s murder but now they also have to deal with larger nation spanning issues. Oh, and they have a boss now too.
Dominion of Blades: A LitRPG Adventure
Dominion of Blades takes the trapped in a game premise and gives it a twist. Three NPCs suddenly wake up one day to find that they’re actually players trapped in a full immersion VR game. Unfortunately, these players can’t remember much about their past and have all been reset to level one.
I enjoyed reading this story but there are some things that just kept it from being great to me.
