The ANKH Resurrectionist Chronicles: OhmN

After failing to successfully colonize the closest planets, the United States, China, and Russia all turn their attentions to the new planet LHS 1140 b.

Cryogenic freezing is incomplete, the body is frozen while the mind slowly turns to mush.

As a solution, the United States forces 100 million 'volunteers' to upload their minds to the Artificial Neural Kinesthetic Habitat (ANKH) servers.

Servers that will recreate the consciousness to one of five different starting planets, so long as they can make their way out of the starting area.

Everyone is given seven lives to get enough points to be chosen for resurrection on the new planet.

The game is rigged.

The rich have purchased improved starting locations, abilities, and additional lives.

There is a chance, sell your starting lives for starting powers and abilities. The more starting lives traded, the greater the rewards offered.

The only problem? Powers earned in this manner will no transfer upon death, unless you are rich.

Who will live?

Will anyone survive the trip to the new world?

Perma-Death Online: A LitRPG adventure: Book 1

Rohan is an NPC in the real world, stuck at a job he despises. His only escape is the fantasy paperbacks that share his bed at night.

Once a gaming addict, Rohan renounced gaming ten years back, thanks to a painful incident in his life. When Prithvi Online—a VRMMORPG unlike any other—is unleashed, Rohan does his best to avoid it. That he cannot “afford” the game helps as well.

But when a friend brings an opportunity to play Prithvi Online for free, Rohan can resist no more. He lets his resolution slip.

However, something fishy is going on in the world of Prithvi. And strange notifications asking to maintain a distance from hooded people only deepen the mystery.

Soon Rohan’s life in the game is turned upside down as he uncovers a plot that can have deadly consequences to the world of Prithvi… and the real world as well.

Sigil Online: Hellions

For Riley and his friends, Sigil Online has never been more real. With the latest expansion, pain has been enabled and will now affect all players in-game.

Aptly named ‘Hellions,’ the expansion introduces monsters, but not the kind that paragons have been fighting for the past several years. This time, players can be the monsters they once sought to destroy.

But in a game where playing means having the money to survive in the real world, what will Riley do when death in the game doesn’t just mean an end to his character, but an end to his life?

Warning: Reading this novel may cause an uncontrollable desire to play Superhero MMOs

SpeedRunner (Tower of Babel Book 1)

A tower appears in Manhattan, making thousands of people disappear but leaving others behind. Within the tower are levels and levels of monsters, strange treasures, and a mysterious force that lets people become more powerful, just like in an RPG game.

Fast forwards two years, our main character Cayden is just old enough to enter the tower and become an adventurer there. His goal is to conquer the fifty explored levels of the tower in record time. He plans to make a speedrun

Fragged 2 (Fragged (A LitRPG Short Story Series))

The second episode in the Fragged serial series.

Zoey, the main character (MC), is joined by her two player friends Chad and Paul.   They work to improve the community the MC founded. They want to expand their buildings underground but they need a few more resources. So, in addition to surviving the local monsters, they’ll have to rob a few neighbors to get the things they need.

This is a short cool mix of survival, crafting, and killing.

Zero God (A LitRPG tale): Awakening (Digital Realms)

Upon awakening in a mysterious forest Izack must come to grips with life inside "Guardians of Atmos", an online MMO. In a world that seems straight out of a video game, the hardest lessons will teach him the way of the world in this LitRPG adventure.

The Accidental Mage: The Orb of Agner: Book 1

I was ok with the few spelling and grammar errors. I was ok with the page count. I’m ok with the info dump. However, I’m not ok with the  abrupt ending where the best friend is suddenly killed by a group of thieves because they can ‘magically’ break the game rules by turning a PVE zone into a PVP area. Then somehow the main character survives by using the overpowered magical artifact they just happen to discover a page ago.

The end of the novel say that the author plans on releasing another story in this series later. I hope the story improves but I can’t recommend this one.

Stalwart Souls Online: The Player Killer's Mark

When a mysterious Player Killer with the ability to cause his victims to die in real life appears in the fully immersive massive multi-player online roleplaying game (MMORPG) Stalwart Souls Online, administrators shut down the game servers to find the criminal.

What they didn't count on was the system being hijacked. Stalwart Souls Online is rebooted, a new patch applied. All players online at that time revert back to Trainee level, their hard work erased. They soon discover that the log out function has been disabled, and that that isn't the only thing that has changed in the game...
