The Land: Raiders: A LitRPG Saga (Chaos Seeds Book 6)

The time of hiding has passed. The Mist Village will make itself known. Goblins have invaded Richter’s lands. Though the first incursion has been defeated, the anger of Chaos Seed remains. Those who challenge Richter’s power will learn there is a reason all creatures fear the mist… it is the home of monsters.

For the first time, Richter takes the battle to his enemies. He will live up to his name, and the very Land will shake with this power. With his allies, the Wood Sprites of Nadria, the army of the Mist Village marches to war. Richter has been a healer, an enchanter, a dungeon diver, and a killer. Now he becomes something more. He becomes a RAIDER!

This is a world of wonder and horror.

This is a world of pain and joy.

This is the world of monsters… and the brave men who battle them.

Spawn Campers: A LitRPG Adventure (The Crucible Shard Book 2)

Castle Sardonis is surrounded by enemies on all sides and dangerously short of supplies. When a needed shipment goes missing the party finds themselves on the high seas beset by pirates and seeking the Goddess of the Sea. New loot, new levels, and new mysteries to unravel as more is learned about the world.

Immediately following the story from Dungeon Crawl the focus remains with the same group and focused on their struggles within the Crucible Shard. Bonds of friendship continue to grow but they each find themselves pushed in new ways by this world.

Nagant Wars: The Pawn's Dilemma

A multi-universe war is brewing and the earth must prepare to fight in the Nagant Wars or be eradicated. Game mechanics are overlaid over our reality so that the war can be judged fairly. The U.S. conscripts our main character Dale, disrupting his life, but giving him the chance to see and do things no other humans have done.

Life Reset

Such a fun story. It’s basically the story of a high level player being forced to start over as a goblin, one of the weakest races in the game. It’s an interesting look at a game from the monster’s point of view. All the game mechanics are really well thought out and interesting. Great story.

Arcane Emperor

A person from a world where magic is rare, creates a spell that takes him to a monster filled world where he can finally be the arcane mage he’s always wanted. Fun, combat oriented story with some interesting skills like sleep learning. Something I could have really used in college.

The Trapped Mind Project (Emerilia Book 1)

Austin, the human CEO of asteroid mining company longs into the full immersion VR game Emerilia. There he becomes Dave, the half dwarf, a guy just looking to build a home and relax. Little does Dave know that the real world is actually a virtual prison created by Aliens to manage the rebellious human race and the Emerilia, is a reality forged with advanced tech to mimic early earth’s MMOs.

Continue Online: Together (Book 5)

At the end of book 4, our player Grant finally gets a happy ending. He gets the girl and saves the world, at least temporarily. Book 5, the last book in the series has Grant racing to find a way to help all the A.I’s in Continue Online as their world is deleted. I can’t say more about the story without spoiling things but books 4 and 5 absolutely wrap up the entire story and make sure to include just about everyone from the other books. I’m honestly a little sad to see the series end.

Realm of the Nine Circles: A LitRPG Book

In the real world Gideon Thistlethwaite is the genius creator of the MMO Realm of the Nine Circles and super rich CEO of the company that runs it. In the game world he plays Mylos, the monster lord.  A terrifying bullheaded, tentacled, magic flinging creature most players think is a high level NPC.

When his employees create technology for the world's first full immersion rig, Gideon starts to change the game to make the NPCs artificially intelligent. When his employees discover the secret behind this amazing leap in A.I. they oppose him both in the real world and in the game with a little ‘inside help’ and the new immersion technology.

Sucked into an RPG: a LitRPG Novel (Sucked into an RPG, Book 1)

In the middle of attacking a difficult boss, Jamie gets sucked into the game. It’s not long before he learns there’s no way back home and that the only people around him are NPCs. He spends his days completing quests, hoping one will lead him back to reality. But the days go on and he wonders if he will ever see his family and best friend again.

Then he meets her—another player. She got sucked into the game months ago and has been stuck there ever since. Together, they embark on the journey back to Earth. But is there a way out of this fantasy world or are they doomed to live there forever?

Growing Pains: The Proving Grounds

The massive virtual reality game The Proving Grounds had a bit of a rocky start, but with some outside help the developers got it under control.

But technological progress doesn’t wait for anyone and a new advance is already in the works: a form of input that builds on their standing devices and works via the players thoughts. Early tests were less than successful, which saw the device shelved early in production, but now a new test subject has been found…

An unconscious subject. Peter is a coma patient whose doctors heard about the device and reached out to the company in hopes of maybe getting a glimpse into his mind.

They got more. Much more. Peter has awoken to a new world, but a world he is unable to leave as he is still comatose on the outside. In the hopes of gathering more data and finding a way to help him, he’s let out into the world… with some oversight.

Unfortunately, nothing new comes without issues to resolve, and the timing couldn’t be worse as new problems spring up around them. But when the world is in danger and he is sent away for his own safety, Peter finds it hard to sit idle. After all, his friends and his new world, his only world, need the help.

Luck Stat Strategy (Secret of the Old Ones Book 1)

However, power comes with a price, and celebrity creates enemies. Trent has the keys to massive success, but he also accidentally painted a target on his back… both in, and out of the game.

Soulstone: Awakening

Aaron Hope plays video games, like a lot, just not professionally. When he entered the EpiX! Games! PVP World Championship on a lark, this college senior never expected to make it to the final round, nor to get drugged and shoved into the alpha test for World of Ruul.

The premise for this virtual reality MMO is simple. Find all eight treasures scattered throughout the world before the maelstrom’s forces devour everything in sight. The only catch? You can’t log off, and if you die… well, let’s just say what happens in the game doesn’t stay in the game.

The Accidental Mage: The Orb of Agner: Book 1

I was ok with the few spelling and grammar errors. I was ok with the page count. I’m ok with the info dump. However, I’m not ok with the  abrupt ending where the best friend is suddenly killed by a group of thieves because they can ‘magically’ break the game rules by turning a PVE zone into a PVP area. Then somehow the main character survives by using the overpowered magical artifact they just happen to discover a page ago.

The end of the novel say that the author plans on releasing another story in this series later. I hope the story improves but I can’t recommend this one.
