We begin with…

Tesla Autopilot Predicts Crash

Incredible dashcam footage out of the Netherlands shows Tesla’s Autopilot feature quickly predicting and responding to a violent crash that occurred just meters ahead it.

In the video posted on Twitter by Hans Noordsij, beeping from the Tesla can be heard warning its driver of a potential crash. The semi-autonomous vehicle used its radar and sensors to detect a vehicle braking on the highway up ahead, it then determined the potential for an accident and automatically applied its own brakes.

Authorities in Arkansas are investigating the death of a man whose body was recently found in a hot tub, and they think the suspect’s Amazon Echo speaker – and the voice-activated software that controls it – might have been a witness to what happened.

Now, the prosecutors are trying to obtain the data from Bates’ Amazon Echo smart speaker to see if there are any clues as to what happened that night. Specifically, they are trying to find any evidence to support their hypothesis that Bates strangled Collins and left him in the hot tub.

Hulu Gets Disney Classics

Disney’s new releases go to Netflix. But Disney’s a co-owner of Hulu and already supplies kids programs and — in a deal unveiled earlier this year — more than 20 Disney Channel Original Movies.

Not all of the theatrical titles will be exclusive to Hulu for SVOD. The ones that are include The Nightmare Before Christmas, Mulan, Pocahontas, Hercules, Sister Act and Air Bud. Other films that will be made available for streaming include Lilo & Stitch, Tarzan, The Emperor’s New Groove, Muppet Treasure Island and The Princess and the Frog.

Live Action Futurama released

(Play Trailer 1)

In what is perhaps the most ambitious Futurama fan project ever undertaken, Cinema Relics has produced a thirty-minute live-action Futurama film. It clocks in at just over 30 minutes long but it’s the best you're going to get to Futurama getting renewed anytime soon.

Deadpool rumored to appear in Logan

Early this week The Wrap reported that that Ryan Reynolds shot a cameo for the newest X-Men series installment, Logan. However, the Deadpool actor himself denied the claim on Twitter, stating. “Sadly, not true. Prisoner 24601 is on a solo mission”

Whether or not the rumor is true, it’s something we’d love to see.

New Doctor Who trailer highlights Goofy Companion

(Play Video 2)

The season 10 trailer for Doctor Who is out and it highlights the different relationship between the Doctor and his latest companion.

Bill (Pearl Mackie) is goofy, loud, over the top...and more importantly, the completely opposite personality that may be just what The Doctor needs. It's no secret Doctor Who has been in a slump ever since the departure of Matt Smith, but very few are putting the blame squarely on the shoulders of current doctor Peter Capaldi. After watching this new trailer and seeing brief glimpses of the two interacting, I think they can bring the magic back.

Avatar Land Teaser Video

(Play Video 3)

2017 will start to ease the franchise back into popular culture. Most significantly, Pandora: The World of Avatar will be opening at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. A new video takes fans behind the scenes.

It’s our best look yet at some of the actual, physical structures that’ll make up the majority of the theme park. You get a taste of how things were created, what the rides will feel like, and how real it’ll feel at every turn. Check it out.

Rick and Morty Season 3

(Play Video 4)

io9, posted a new preview of Rick and Morty‘s third season debuted on a live stream broadcast by Adult Swim. The footage is far from finished, but it does feature Justin Roiland‘s voice as the title duo in a sequence that apparently takes place after last season’s cliffhanger was resolved. It highlights the change in tone of the cartoon, Rich isn’t all knowing and has some serious issues to deal with.
