This week Oculus had their yearly press event and they had some interesting announcements.

  • The Kirobo Mini robot mimics a baby by wobbling while seated and speaking with a high-pitched voice.

    • The robot has a built-in camera that allows it to track people’s faces, as well as their emotions, apparently adjusting the way that it talks to you depending on its mood.

    • It will be able to grow with its user, learning what they like and dislike.

    • It will sell for 39,800 yen (US$392) in Japan next year.

Blade Runner Title

The producers of the Blade Runner sequel announced this week that they’ve finally come up with a title for the movie: Blade Runner 2049 and it is scheduled to arrive in theaters on October 6th, 2017.

Wolverine 3 release date

Hugh Jackman has revealed his supposedly final outing as Wolverine will have a bit of an unusual title, Logan and a release date of March 3, 2017. Jackman announced the film’s title on social media, posting a grainy image of a new poster for the film, revealing the Logan name as well as the image of Wolverine holding the hand of a small child.

Jackman also released the 2nd page of the script detailing the first fight scene in the movie. The page definitely shows that the producers want to take the action up a notch now that they’re making a rated R Wolverine movie.

Thor Ragnarok Spoilers

Schmoes Know had the scoop that Ragnarok isn’t a cataclysmic event in this film, it’s the name of the planet that Thor and Hulk find themselves stranded on. Remember those Planet Hulk hints at San Diego Comic-Con? It looks like Thor: Ragnarok is borrowing several plot elements from that classic storyline, as Thor and Hulk have to fight their way out of the space gladiator pits hosted by Jeff Goldblum‘s Grandmaster. That’s also where we’ll meet the new heroine, Valkyrie, and Skurge the Executioner, who may be more sympathetic in this incarnation.

Harry Potter films back in Theaters

Imax and Warner Bros. are teaming up to screen all eight “Harry Potter” films for one week, starting on Oct. 13.

The showings come a month before the Nov. 18 release of the “Potter” spinoff “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.” The event also marks the first time both “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” and “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” — the first two movies in the series — will be shown in Imax theaters.

Netflix has announced that Iron Fist will premiere on March 17, 2017.

The Netflix series for Punisher has also started filming, with set shots leaked by JustJared.

Additionally, THE PUNISHER has cast two new roles:
