Researchers Are Pretty Sure They've Found A New Planet In Our Solar System
Researchers Konstantin Batygin and Mike Brown, two CalTech scientists, say the new planet is about 10 times the mass of Earth and has an atmosphere of hydrogen and helium. Science magazine reports that the mysterious "Planet X" moves in a distant orbit beyond Neptune.
The researchers haven't observed Planet X itself, but believe it exists because of the unique configuration of six objects when they come closest to the sun, according to Science.
The scientists say that there's a 0.007 percent probability that the configuration is due to chance, and instead are confident it's a ninth planet. They believe they will observe the planet with a telescope within five years, according to The Associated Press.

Steven Moffat Leaving Doctor Who After Season 10, Broadchurch Creator Steps In
Steven Moffat will be stepping down as showrunner of the Doctor Who series. His last season will be the yet-to-air season 10, which BBC has also decided to hold back until Spring 2017.
This will mean that 2016 only sees one Who episode at all, the Christmas Special.
Starting with 2018's season 11, Chris Chibnall, creator of Broadchurch, will step into the showrunner role.

Netflix is making a cyberpunk detective series
Netflix is working on a new TV series about a gruff detective, a troubling femme-fatale, and a mysterious murder — a pretty stock noir setup, if it weren't also set 500 years in the future. The series is based on Altered Carbon, a cyberpunk detective novel from author Richard K. Morgan. It's set in a world where human consciousness is regularly transferred from one body to the next; this particular story focuses on a former soldier whose newest body gets him wrapped up in big conspiracy and someone else's love life.

Deadpool Banned in China
Citing graphic violence, nudity, and language, China's State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television has banned Deadpool from screening in the country, which is the world's second-largest movie market.
THR reports that sources close to the 20th Century Fox/Marvel Studios co-production say they can't tone down Deadpool for the Chinese market, since the areas China has objected to would cause story problems if cut.
