Dungeon Core Academy: A LitRPG Adventure

You only live once…unless you’re resurrected to become the master of a dungeon.

When Beno died and was offered a second chance as a dungeon core, he dived right in. He joined the dungeon core academy, and he found himself in a new life where killing heroes wasn’t just accepted, but encouraged. Under the tutelage of the academy overseers, he learned how to make dungeons filled with monsters and traps.

Now he has finally been given his own dungeon, and he must pass his final test. Either build a dungeon powerful enough to slay heroes, or fail and get smashed up into core dust. He will apply all his diabolical dungeon strategy to succeed, but what happens when an unexpected visitor walks into his lair?

He used to live a normal life. Now he builds dungeons, creates monsters, and uses them to fight loot-hungry heroes.

Clyde and his party return in September 2019’s issue, bringing the humor and fun, ass-kicking, and the rising from weak to completely unstoppable.

Morgana: Everybody Loves Large Chests (Vol.4)

The citizens of Azurvale are starting to feel the pressure. War with the Empire to the south is imminent, and there's talk of the city's adventurers being drafted into the campaign. Though this conflict seems inevitable and promises to be horrific, the common folk can do little but act like there's nothing wrong. Rather than lose sleep over something so wildly out of their control, they instead worry about tiny, personal, inconsequential issues. Things like, 'Will the butcher have fresh steak today?' and, 'Should I get those new boots now, or wait and see if they go on sale?'

However, though they try to maintain some modicum of normalcy, the people of Azurvale have yet to find out that their capital is already under threat. Not by some warmongering nation, but by a certain individual that has come to them seeking asylum, knowledge, profit, and power through any means necessary. As this newcomer burrows into the city's underbelly like a voracious tick, it cares not for the people it hurts along the way. Indeed, any soul unfortunate enough to cross paths with Boxxy T. Morningwood seems doomed to have their life ruined in one way or another. Often through no fault of their own.

Whether it's an ancient being, a skilled assassin, a godlike archer, or a fresh-faced recruit, none shall be spared from the whims of chaos.

When freakish storms envelope the Earth, people start disappearing without a trace. Wild theories abound; is it aliens, spontaneous combustion, or perhaps quantum entanglement? The only ones who might know are those who have vanished.

An average group of gamers is setting up to start a new campaign. The storms rage across the world, but they only care about the game they are about to start. Little do they know that they would be next to disappear from the face of the Earth.

Shifted to a different world, the group of friends find that the gamer’s dream they had always harbored has come true, but not in the way they would have hoped. They are not there as themselves, but as the level one characters they had been preparing to play. Standing on a road with smoke rising in the distance, they would soon be given their first quest— but not the one they would have chosen.

(This series contains dark themes, including but not limited to: suicide, torture, slavery, and worse.)

LitRPG in space. Definitely feels like an episodic TV series. This time we have a few battles, gain some crew, redecoracte the ship, do some shopping, and make a bit safer along the way. Stay tuned for the next episode. I like the characters and the way world building is handled. Some nice banter and a few good challenges for the crew. A great continuation and great reading. No cute mascot yet.

I liked Eden's new cultivating gameLit book. It has a different take on things that expands the genre(s). Quite a bit of this first story is on the road with an increasing party of travelers. I found the part at the end when we get to find out more about why this trip was so difficult. It's the first SFW story with a young adult feel to it.
