Review written by Ian Mitchell

I like Eden Redd's stories. Yes, this one has sex in it (they all do). Nice setup of a mixed tech and fantasy elements brought to you by the mysterious villain - The Master. A lot of running and fighting. It reads like the early portions of a sci fi movie with a bit of tabletop RPG thrown in. Mr. The Master is the dungeon master. The game is on as the first book ends. It felt like kind of a teaser really, but it did set the stage.

Score: 7.6 out of 10
