Game producer, Koji Igarashi, left with Konami when they decided to stop making Castlevania games. Igarashi started a Kickstarter campaign to fund the creation of Bloodstained, the spiritual successor to Castlevania. The Kickstarter hit its goal of $500,000 in one day. With the Kickstarter campaign ending on June 12th, they’ve raised just under $3.8 million.
First Episode of Justice League: Gods and Monsters
This is the first installment of Justice League: Gods and Monsters, a project that will release a series of animated episodes daily June 8th – 12th. Bruce Timm and Machinma worked together to bring an alternate version of the Justice League to life. Because the project is released online expect an edgier, darker take on the DC Universe.
Watch this Metal change shape on it's own
Watch this metal re-shape it self. It's like magic but it's really science. Guess this explains how the T2000 did his thing.
Epic's VR Tech Demo-Showdown
Here is the VR tech demo that Epic Games has been showing off at all the conventions using the latest VR headsets. I’ve seen it in VR and it’s better there. The video doesn’t quiet convey the user’s ability to look around and see the scene in 3D.
First Trailer-The Martian starring Matt Damon
The first official trailer for the movie The Martian, directed by Ridley Scott. When a monster storm forces the early evacuation of the first manned mission to Mars, Damon's Mark Watney is stranded on the red planet and assumed dead. He has to use all his wits to survive on Mars, alone. The movie is not out till November 2015 so we’ll have to wait to see how the story turns out.
Matt Damon says goodbye to the earth
The Martian is one of our favorite books and it looks like the movie version is coming along quite nicely. In the video Matt Damon, playing astronaut Mark Watney, introduces us to the Ares 3 crew before they leave earth and visit Mars for the first time. It’s great to see Mark Watney calm and collected before things go bad in the story.

Watch this- Lego Doctor Who Fan shorts
BlobVanDam is a 3D animator and a Doctor Who fan. Combing this love of Doctor Who with the Lego Style has resulted in two great looking fan shorts. The first recreates the Time of the Doctor episode where Matt Smith turns into Peter Capaldi. The other is a short example of what a Lego Doctor Who game might look like.
Watch the trailer for Bridge of Spies directed by Spielberg, starring Tom Hanks
A dramatic thriller set against the backdrop of a series of historic events, DreamWorks Pictures/Fox 2000 Pictures’ “Bridge of Spies” tells the story of James Donovan, a Brooklyn lawyer who finds himself thrust into the center of the Cold War when the CIA sends him on the near-impossible task to negotiate the release of a captured American U-2 pilot.

Trailer for online animated series- Justice League: Gods and Monsters
This new take on the Justice League was made in cooperation with Machinima. It’s apparently going to be released online over the course of several days (June 8th –June 12th). Looks good to me.
Z for Zachariah- The last woman on Earth movie
Z for Zachariah stars Margot Robbie, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Chris Pine. The trailer makes it out to be a love triangle story after the end of the world. The movie looks like what I expected Last Man on Earth to be like..only with a woman..and a plot.
Augmented hearing with HERE
Here, Active Listening has been developed by Doppler Labs. It uses two wireless buds and a smartphone app to control what you hear and how you hear it. What’s great about this product is that it works in real time with zero latency. Tech Crunch interviewed the company founders and tried out the product and it looks pretty neat.
Watch a Tiny Hamster Wreak a City
The folks at HelloDenizen have produced this super cute video of a hamster wreaking a city. Guess he’s watched too many Godzilla films.

Lego Post Apocalyptic world
Swedish LEGO builders from Swebrick created a huge post-apocalyptic diorama that could easily be a scene from Mad Max or from another similar franchise.
I can imagine Max and Furiosa driving down that road. This just screams for an stop motion short to be made.
Here are some highlights photographed by Jonas Wide and Christer Nyberg.
