GameFly, who traditionally sends you games in the mail, has announced a new video game streaming service. Instead of an all you can play buffet of games for a monthly price, GameFly is bundling games to stream for $6.99-9.99 a month. For example the Lego bundle has seven Lego games, the adventure bundle has seven games like Batman: Arkham Asylum, and the gamer pack has sixteen games ($9.99/month) you can play. Unfortunately, there are only about 40 games total available to stream right now and the service is only available on the Amazon Fire TV for now.
Other video game streaming services like OnLive have not done very well in this field due to the limited selection games and limitations in bandwidth that slow streaming down. Hopefully, GameFly has these issues ironed out.
