It was announced today that one of our favorite Netflix original shows, Grace and Frankie, has been renewed by Netflix for a second season. The show stars Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston.
Speaking after the announcement, co-creator and executive producer Marta Kauffman said, “Let me say, it’s so awesome to do a show on Netflix, because two and a half weeks after we launched, Miley Cyrus does a tweet about your show, and they call and say, ‘We’d like to do a Season 2.’ So yes, there is a Season 2. We have Ted (Sarandos) and Miley to thank.”
Looks like we have something to thank Miley Cyrus for.
