Harry Shearer, voice of such notable Simpson’s characters as Ned Flanders and Principal Skinner, has left the show after reported failed contract negotiations. The Simpsons, already the longest running show on television, recently got a two year contract extension. CNNMoney reports that no characters will be killed off, but the Simpsons will recast the voice of those characters previously voiced by Shearer.
Also, Pirateaba, author of the Wandering Inn series has a Kickstarter for a connected graphic novel for that story univers. Already funded at $38K.
