We begin with…

Have you ever wanted to swing through the air like radioactive superhero Spider-Man? What about death – are you interested in that? A new Spider-Man Kickstarter product might give you the chance to achieve both of those dreams!

I’m at a bit of a loss here. There’s a new Kickstarter page for something called “Air-Ropes: The Grappling Hook Experience” and I watched the video presentation wondering if it was supposed to be a joke. But no, this is apparently real. Inventor Trajan Dimsey has concocted a device that enables you to shoot grappling hook ropes from arm-cannons. You can then, in theory, use the ropes to swing through the air just like your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. See for yourself.

Dimsey isn’t looking for funding to make his product. Instead, he wants to buy a “grid of giant air bags” so he can expand his swinging grounds. Then he wants to “get a portable structure like they use at musical festivals.”

Rewards for backers include, traveling to his place to play with his rope shooter.

n March 25, Dragon Ball Super’s last episode will air, bringing to an end the series which debuted in June 2015.

Warning: This article has spoilers.

According to an Animage magazine scan, which was linked by Hachima but which Kotaku hasn’t confirmed firsthand, the episode’s title is apparently “A Miraculous Conclusion! Farewell Goku! Until The Day We Meet Again!!”

Animage (via Hachima) reportedly has this short summary of episode 131:

Goku falls from the arena. As for the Universe 7's defeat, everyone was supposed to be annihilated, but... It appears the fight isn’t over, with Goku, who’s surpassed his limits, and Jiren turning their eyes towards Zeno. Then, a Death Beam into Jiren’s back. There is the figure of a battered Universe 7 member.

Even though the series is ending, a new Dragon Ball animated feature will be released in theaters this December in Japan.

Yes, it is officially confirmed, Black Panther 2 is definitely going to come to fruition. After all, why wouldn’t it, after how much praise the first film is getting? As it currently stands, Black Panther has made over $1 Billion worldwide.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly Feige eluded that Wakanda is going to be a huge anchor point for the MCU moving forward. Especially with Asgard taken off of the playing field in Thor: Ragnarok, having a new and exciting homefront to stage some of the more important scenes in the upcoming movies is a huge win for everyone.

Netflix released a teaser trailer announcing the release date of season 2 of Luke Cage, June 22, 2018. In the new trailer, we see Luke Cage showcasing his abilities, saying, “You can’t burn me, you can’t blast me, and you definitely can’t break me.” He then calls out to the world saying, “You wanna test me? Step up! I’m right here.” This statement is met with an encouraging shout from someone off-screen saying, “Get paid, black man, get paid!”

This could indicate that season 2 will explore the “hero for hire” storyline that Luke Cage goes through, in the Comicbooks, along with Danny Rand/Iron Fist.

Shots of Zack Levi as Shazam have leaked online. Facing Doctor Sivana What do you think of him in the costume?

Mark Hamill, whose career in television and film has crossed galaxies and genres over several decades, officially received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday in a ceremony that included a few famous members of the Star Wars family.

Several of Hamill’s colleagues were in attendance, including The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson, co-stars Kelly Marie Tran and Billie Lourd, and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy. Two of Hamill’s longtime collaborators, George Lucas and Harrison Ford, were both on hand to speak on Hamill’s behalf. They emphasized Hamill’s infectious enthusiasm, with Lucas calling him “a character that can’t be written.”

We’ve known for a while now that acclaimed director Denis Villeneuve – best-known for his work on Arrival and Blade Runner 2049 – would make a Dune movie. But now it sounds like that film is actually two films, with the potential for even more.

Speaking at the Rendez-Vous du Cinema Quebecoi this week, Villeneuve announced that his adaptation of Frank Herbert‘s 1965 science-fiction novel will “probably take two years to make” and the goal is to “make two films, maybe more.”

He’s not just Groot anymore. Sony has officially cast Fast and Furious star Vin Diesel as the title star of Bloodshot, the film adaptation of the popular comic book from Valiant Entertainment. The studio has big plans for a Valiant cinematic universe, so there is a lot riding on this film.

Bloodshot is a former soldier with powers of regeneration and meta-morphing made possible through nanites injected into his blood. After having his memory wiped numerous times, Bloodshot is out to discover who he really is and get vengeance on those who did this to him. Bloodshot's bloodstream contains a billion nanocomputers, enabling him to heal from injuries quickly, interface with technology, and shape shift his mass.

Apparently, the film will be tonally similar to Robocop, Terminator, and Total Recall, which sounds quite promising. Sony is hoping to start the film’s principal photography by July, though no release date has been revealed thus far.

James Gunn broke the Internet when the Guardians of the Galaxy director revealed that Baby Groot is not a reincarnation of the original Groot. Though he has clarified this statement before, Gunn actually broke some hearts when he revealed that Baby Groot is actually the original’s son.

Fox has already rapidly expanded its slate of Marvel movies when it comes to the X-Men Universe, with everything from Deadpool to New Mutants pushing beyond the main X-films. But now, it appears the studio is looking to flesh out the Marvel characters it has access to through the Fantastic Four, starting with the herald of Galactus himself—the Silver Surfer.

As part of a wider report about the uncertain future of Fox’s adult-focused superhero fare in the wake of the impending deal to bring the movie studio into the vast Disney empire, The Hollywood Reporter states that among the multiple Marvel movies Fox currently has in the works, there are two “secret” projects currently underway.

One is a Doctor Doom solo movie, which we first heard about at San Diego Comic-Con last year and will come from Legion showrunner Noah Hawley, but the other is what appears to be a previously unrevealed standalone for Marvel’s iconic, shiny surferbro of the cosmos, Norrin Radd, a.k.a. the Silver Surfer.
