Earlier this week French taxi drivers burned tires and closed down roadways to protest ride sharing apps like Uber and Chauffeur-Privé. 22 protesters were arrested by French Police.
French Anti-Uber protests turn violent
According to the police, 2,800 taxi drivers are protesting today against UberPOP. Unfortunately, there have already been reports of Taxi drivers attacking Uber drivers and damaging vehicles they suspect of being driven by Uber drivers. There are also confirmed reports of both Taxi and Uber drivers being arrested by police in France.
