Arizona Sunshine is one of the first games announced for the soon to be released VR system HTC Vive. The trailer shows one unlucky individual having to fend off a zombie. The game seems to take advantage of the excellent person and hand tracking capabilities of the system forcing the player to move away from the zombie and reload manually if they run out of ammo.
In a statement to Road to VR, the game creators Vertigo games says the made-for-VR title takes advantage of HTC Vive’s motion controllers so that you can “anticipate attacks, manage your ammo and consumables, and aim down the sights to blast your enemies to undead pieces,”
The recommended system specs for the game are very similar to what Oculus announced for their system.
· Intel i5-4590 equivalent or greater
· 8GB RAM
· NVIDIA GTX 970 / AMD 290 equivalent or greater
· VR Headset required, 2x USB 3.0 ports
Looks like VR will require a pretty beefy computer system to run smoothly no matter what HMD you choose.
