First Login (The World - Book 1) Vs Ascend Online, Plagiarism or just inspiration?

The recently released novel First Login (The World - Book 1) has been accused of plagiarizing parts of Ascend Online. After reading and taking notes on the story, I’ve noted closely worded reworded novel descriptions, story ideas, and actually copying word for word text. Mostly of the plagiarized sentences are done early in First Login novel and is limited to some word for word copies of quests, notifications, and character creation stuff. However, the majority of the story is original and after the 50% mark of book 1, there are no further similarities between the two stories. The author of First Login admits that his story was inspired by Ascend Online among other LitRPG stories. The question becomes, why didn’t he take the extra steps to assure none of his novel plagiarized from another LitRPG story?

The following are screen shots showing the plagiarized texts. You’ll not that some are not word for word copies but are reworded but when compared to the original text of Ascend Online are too similar to be coincidence.

First Login - 16% MC gets option to choose pre-made character options but chooses custom instead and assigns stats

Ascend Online - 3% -Mc has option to choose pre-made starter or custom. Chooses custom and assigns stats

First Login - 35% MC dropped into game and immediately attacked by goblin raiders. Has to save several NPCs from them.

Ascend Online - 4% MC dropped right into game. Fight with goblins raiders attacking village and save several NPCs from them.

First Login - 39% Gets quest to save refugees being attacked by Goblin Raiders,then will be taken to leader.

Ascend Online - 5% Given quest to save the villagers from the Goblin Raid

First Login -44% MC gets quest to drive out invaders but group needs supplies

Ascend Online - 7% Village saved, MC gets evolving quest to gather supplies and rebuild village
