Pix photo app picks your best photo

Microsoft has a free photo app for iOS called Pix in the app store now. The app continuously takes pictures and uses an algorithm to select the best one from among 10 images taking before and after the camera button is pressed. It also does live images that mix still and live imagery to create a short video clip. It also reduces noise, adjusts contrast and white balance. Nintendo NX rumors

Eurogamer reports sources tell it the Nintendo NX will be a “high-powered” portable device running on a successor to Nvidia’s Tegra X1 mobile chip, with its own built-in display and two detachable controller sections. Rocketeer Sequel in Works

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney’s Rocketeer reboot will be called The Rocketeers, and it will introduce an African-American female character who will step up to become the new Rocketeer after the original hero, Cliff Secord, disappears during World War II. The new Disney Hero is also a pilot, and becomes the Rocketeer to protect the jetpack technology from “an ambitious and corrupt rocket scientist” at a potential “turning point in the Cold War.”

Netflix announces Gilmore Girls release date

Netflix has finally announced the release date for their four-episode renewal of the Gilmore Girls. There’s an adorable trailer that goes along with the announcement. Each of the 90-minute episodes will be available globally on November 25.

Matt Damon stars in the most expensive Chinese Movie Ever

This week the producers of the film, The Great Wall, released photos in Entertainment Weekly showing off the upcoming film. The movie stars Matt Damon fighting monsters on the Great Wall of China and is directed by the same guy that directed Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. The film is already the most expensive Chinese movie ever filmed and Matt seems to be the only white guy in the movie.
